SCDN Jargon Buster
SCDN Publication - Clarity for a Change - Key Terms and Ideas in Community Development.
Following the consultation, on our 'CD Jargon Buster Plus' , we have made a number of amendments to
the definitions and the comments on them. We have also reorganised the document into themed sections to make it more user
friendly, and added a number of text boxes giving more information on key terms and ideas.
We have received funding from Learning Connections, part of Communities Scotland to finalise and
publish final documen, under the new name of 'Clarity for a Change!: Key Terms and Ideas in Community Development'. A
copy will be sent to all SCDN members in August 2007, as well as being circulated through a range of relevant networks,
and made available for download from our website.
The earlier version of the document, which contains definitions of dozens of key terms, can
be downloaded from the link below.

Learning and Development?
